Twenty Years of Compassion, Hope & Dignity

Attire for Hire
The Attire for Hire clothing program is a member of the Rhode Island Clothing Collaborative.

Its mission is to provide welfare-to-work individuals (going on interviews)
and low-income community members with work appropriate clothing
(including shoes and coats) free of charge.

Last year Attire For Hire had 322 visits from men and women needing work appropriate clothing.

the Clothing Drive held in May 2008

Countless individuals will benefit from the
fine clothing as a result of
Sun-Up Gallery's innovative and thoughtful event!

Marie Jo DeMaestri, Attire for Hire Manager, manages to maintain order in a sometimes chaotic environment.  Between people coming in with donations and clients coming in for clothing, Marie Jo is always able to remember a specific item that one of the clients may have asked for months ago, but has just come in.  Volunteers do help out in Attire for Hire and are greatly appreciated.

The WARM Shelter does not accept furniture donations any longer unless for a specific need.
Please call the WARM Shelter to inquire.

The purpose of Westerly Area Rest Meals (WARM) Inc. is to provide a

continuum of care and service to the homeless and needy by providing affordable housing

and assuring supportive services, and to help the homeless and needy build

self-esteem and move toward independent and responsible living.
