Recently a dear friend of the Watch Hill and Westerly community passed away. Some of her friends have come forward and want to commemorate her in a way that will honor the extraordinary person she was. W.A.R.M. has been identified as an agency that represents causes that were near and dear to her heart.
WARM was notified that her friends are most interested in preserving her legacy in a manner that would have pleased her by becoming involved with our plans for a larger, new and improved kitchen and dining room to serve the twice daily meals to anyone in the community who is in need of a nutritious meal. Last year over 40,000 meals were prepared in WARM's miniscule kitchen and served in the tiny dining room.
"Anita's Kitchen" will be in Phase One of WARM's planned three-stage comprehensive plan to better serve the community which is expected to begin within the next eighteen months.

service to the homeless and needy by providing affordable housing

supportive services, and to help the homeless and needy build
self-esteem and
move toward independent and responsible living.
